Strategic Communication
Much of my work over the past decade has centered on thought leadership—developing and sharing strategic insights that shape design conversations across organizations. While this work doesn't always translate into traditional portfolio pieces, it has generated numerous presentations that demonstrate my ability to distill complex ideas and influence key stakeholders. Most of that communication happens through presentations, here are a few examples from my career.
These excerpts showcase how I've approached strategic communication across various topics and audiences. These presentations demonstrate my ability to create compelling narratives and visual aids that effectively convey complex information and drive consensus.
Collaboration + Design Thinking
I conduct workshops for collaboration and design thinking. My approach to collaboration is built on five core tenets, enabling teams to unify to tackle complex projects and produce effective results--together. Then, through the design thinking process, I guide teams to focus on the user and the business objectives to move faster and enjoy designing products more.
Collaboration + Design Thinking is key to developing meaningful innovations and inspiring purposeful actions. This creating a healthier culture and better deliverables.

Design Systems Overview
When I first introduced a design system at a previous organization, the concept was new—and I needed consensus from several corporate leaders. I created a 10-minute presentation that explained the fundamentals without getting lost in details. I kept it on my laptop for impromptu conversations. When leaders would ask "what's a design system?" in passing, I'd offer the quick walkthrough if they had ten minutes available.
The presentation was so effective that I had buy-in from all of them in under three weeks... the informal, irreverant "10-minute overview" format was also adopted company-wide to create similar decks for department-specific topics, processes, and systems.

Intro to Digital Experience Practice
In two previous companies, I was the first UX hire and needed to build the practice from scratch. This presentation introduced executives to the vision and value of a dedicated Digital Experience team.
The results speak to the effectiveness of this strategic communication: I grew the team from myself as a solo Experience Architect to nearly 20 people over three years, including designers, researchers, and product managers. This scaling required ongoing stakeholder alignment and demonstrated ROI that justified continued investment in user experience and digital design capabilities.
